Delete your account

USTourGuide is made by Front Window Labs. This page explains how to delete your account in the app, what we remove, and what we keep that is no longer connected to you.
How to delete
In the USTourGuide app, go to Settings → Delete Account, then confirm. Deletion begins immediately and completes within 24 hours.
What deletion removes
These are removed permanently:
- your account and sign-in
- profile and preferences
- listening history
- blocked lists
- unpublished tour drafts and their photos
- diagnostic session logs
- the records linking you to any purchase
What is retained
Tours you published, with their stops and photos, are retained. They are removed from public view immediately and are no longer attributable to you — your account identifier is replaced with a one-way code and the author byline is reset to a neutral default.
Under our Terms this content is licensed to us. Our staff review it, and anything not kept is deleted within 90 days. Photos are retained as uploaded, including any embedded camera information.
Moderation records
If you reported content, we keep the report's category and outcome so moderation decisions stay auditable. Those records are no longer connected to you: your identifier is replaced by a one-way code, and personal details — location, device, and anything you wrote — are removed.
Subscriptions and purchases
A subscription billed through our website is cancelled when you delete your account. A subscription billed through Apple is not — it continues until you cancel it in your Apple account settings, and the app will show you where before you delete.
Deleting your account does not itself refund any purchase. Apple purchases follow Apple's refund policy.
Organizations
Deleting your personal account removes your access to any organization. The organization and its tours are not affected.
